Kory & Carrie’s Wedding

June 21st, 2008

So we just got back from Kory and Carrie’s wedding in Lawrence Park. It was such a beautiful ceremony and luckily the weather turned out to be too! This was our first wedding of the season and we couldn’t wait to get out there and shoot! The ceremony was at the Lawrence Park United Methodist Church and their reception was at the Lawrence Park Golf Club. In between we hopped on the trolley and went down to the Bayfront for some photos. I’ll share a little bit more about their wedding in my next post — here are some images!

Retouching Available

June 6th, 2008

I recently did some photo retouching for Cindy at the Flower Cart and wanted to share that with you all. Retouching old photographs is such an amazing job for me. I love to make cherished old beat up photos look new again. These make great gifts so keep them in mind for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, or just to surprise your grandmother with a fixed up favorite image of hers.    BEFORE:     AFTER:

Is that not the cutest portrait? This little girl wanted to do something special during her sitting to give her dad for Father’s Day. I totally love it! She is so adorable and was a lot of fun to photograph. Here are three more images from her session —

Kiera’s Newborn Session

May 19th, 2008

On Saturday I went into Clymer, NY and photographed Kiera’s newborn portraits. She is such a doll! She was just 4 days old. Here are some shots from this weekend –

New Website

May 12th, 2008

First off, I hope you all had a fantastic mother’s day yesterday! I had a really nice one with my mother and her sisters and mom. We had a really nice dinner at Docksider’s located at Kinzua Dam.

Also, I wanted to write and let everyone know that I’ve got my Vixen Sessions website up and going. Its not anywhere near finished but at least its there! You can find it at www.vixensessions.com and read the blog at www.vixensessions.com/diary.

Look for a hodgepodge post coming up here on Wednesday of some of the things I’ve been working on lately! I know I’ve been slacking off in the posting department - sorry!

Possible May Vixen Marathon?

May 1st, 2008

We are working on putting together a May Vixen marathon, tentative date - May 18th. I’ve got someone who is interested and am trying to gather up a few more girls to make a day of it. This will probably be the last one for a little while since wedding season will be picking up pretty soon and we’ll be busy with that. Still not sure? Check out what some of the previous Vixens had to say:

“Just wanted to tell you that I had a great time at yesterday’s Vixen session! I was very impressed with you - now I really can’t wait for my wedding!! You made me feel SO comfortable and sure of myself - yesterday not only helped me create a great gift for [ future hubby ], but it was totally the ego boost I needed. I smiled the rest of the evening at work and just felt good about myself. I cannot wait to see the shots.” - TJ

“I felt like I was with one of my girlfriends, not someone that I had met only once.” - LK

“I just had a really great experience. I thought it would be awkward  wearing next to nothing with people I didn’t know but you made it fun and relaxing.” - KK

”I would and will recommend this! Like I mentioned before (and especially now after seeing just the one photo you sent) it made me feel great! It’s great to get out of my element and stretch beyond my comfort zone a little.” - TJ

Please email or call me and let me know that you want in!

As for the Vixen Sessions website…its in the works, hopefully I can unveil that soon! I’ve got some great images to share and lots of information regarding the sessions.

New Site, New Blog Comin’ Atcha!

April 22nd, 2008

So I haven’t been able to post what I’ve been shooting much lately since I’ve been doing so many model shoots and Vixen Sessions. I’m excited to announce that my boudoir business is really taking off and that I’ve decided to create a website dedicated to it, thereby keeping this site strictly G-Rated! I will post a link to the new site and blog as soon as its up and running.

I’ll end this with an image from yesterday’s session with Erin. This shot was a little special promo for her boyfriend’s business, Phantom Graphics. She wanted a commercial style shot for him to hang up at the garage! Look for more Erin pictures on the new site!

Those Foxy Girls

April 14th, 2008

I just wanted to write and thank the girls who made it out yesterday for their Vixen Session, you all looked gorgeous! I can’t wait for your men to open their gift from you! Expect an email with a teaser pic in it for you by the end of the day! I’d also like to thank Amy and Amber at Beauty by Belson and Colleen out of Erie for their hair and makeup talents — the girls looked fantastic!

There is a new website coming dedicated just to the Vixen Sessions, so look out for that! I’m so excited about this new venture. I hope more of you will make the decision to be a part of such a fun experience.

Hayden’s Newborn Session

April 11th, 2008

Remember Rob and Melissa? I said I couldn’t wait to meet Hayden in March…well he held out until April 1st! Earlier today we had his newborn session and these are some of my favorite images. I love to show just how small they are when they are so new and tiny! And I just adore black and white baby pictures, they just have a classic feel to them and really seem to showcase the subject. I think he was born to be a model, he did such a great job and is such a doll!

Thanks for having me come into your home and share the afternoon with you! I look forward to watching him grow and taking tons of portraits of him :)

xoxo | Heather
