Sorry I’ve been slacking on the posting here, I’ve been swamped with lots of fun photo shoots! I’m off for vacation this week but when I get back expect lots of pictures on here from all the different sessions I haven’t gotten to post yet.
I will be checking email some times throughout the week so if you need to get in contact with me feel free to message me and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

On Saturday we photographed the fabulous wedding of Lisa & Joey. Their church was beautiful - St. Joseph’s Church in Gowanda, NY, the ceremony was lovely and the reception at Shorewood Country Club was fantastic! We even got a little bit of playtime at Point Gratiot beach in Dunkirk. Every aspect of their wedding day was planned and executed perfectly. From the attire to the table settings, dinner and dancing, everyone looked amazing and everything was wonderful. And what a great couple! Joey & Lisa, thanks for inviting us to capture your big day with images you will be excited to look back on over and over again! Here are your teasers:

Warmest wishes for a long and happy life together! <3 Heather & Murl

Thomas came in from Clymer last night for his senior portraits and we made it happen just in time to beat the torrential downpour! We started out with some portraits involving his passion for bowling — now this is a guy you want to have on your team, he bowled a 300 game this year!

Then we walked around town a bit and took some pictures with a bunch of different buildings for backdrops - North East has some really cool locations for portraits. This was my favorite -

We hit up the football field and got some really cool shots with the stormy sky…

Thanks to Thomas and Wendy for such an enjoyable session. Good luck and enjoy your senior year, Thomas!

Last Friday we had the privilege of photographing my cousin’s fourth of July wedding! Ariel and Noah were married at Edward’s Chapel in French Creek, NY and had their reception at the Retreat at Peek’n Peak. These two looked so great and are so in love and had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire day, it was impossible to take a bad photograph. We were also fortunate to have total creative freedom throughout the whole day and we came up with some really great stuff! We got so many great images but I can only post a few, so here goes!
Here are a couple of detail shots - I really love their wedding rings, Noah’s is so unique!
A tight embrace post-ceremony:
Then we got a chance for some fun shots across the road from the church.
This next one is either my favorite or reallllly close to it, I just love it!
Noah and Ariel ~ Congratulations!! We are so excited for you two and we look forward to seeing what the future has in store for you! Much love, Heather & Murl

On Saturday we had the privilege of photographing Merry and Scott’s wedding at Peek’n Peak in Findley Lake, NY. Their ceremony was beautiful and their celebration was fantastic! For this post I’m focusing on the details from this wedding. They had so many great details that made their wedding unique and we wanted to showcase them here.
The wedding bands on the ring bearer’s pillow:

The bride’s bouquet - one of her bridesmaids created all the flower arrangements and they were unique and beautiful!

Her grandmother’s clutch and a gorgeous antique inspired engagement ring:

Chocolates provided by Romolo Chocolates out of Erie, PA:

A shot of their rings after the wedding:

And an image taken during the ceremony at the lodge:

Scott + Merry - thanks for having us there on your special day, you guys are such a cool, laid back couple we know you are going to have a fantastic life together!! <3 Heather + Murl

So we just got back from Kory and Carrie’s wedding in Lawrence Park. It was such a beautiful ceremony and luckily the weather turned out to be too! This was our first wedding of the season and we couldn’t wait to get out there and shoot! The ceremony was at the Lawrence Park United Methodist Church and their reception was at the Lawrence Park Golf Club. In between we hopped on the trolley and went down to the Bayfront for some photos. I’ll share a little bit more about their wedding in my next post — here are some images!

Carrie and Kory — Congratulations! You guys are such a fantastic couple and I’m sure you will have a wonderful life together!! Thanks for letting us capture your special day! <3 Heather & Murl

I recently did some photo retouching for Cindy at the Flower Cart and wanted to share that with you all. Retouching old photographs is such an amazing job for me. I love to make cherished old beat up photos look new again. These make great gifts so keep them in mind for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, or just to surprise your grandmother with a fixed up favorite image of hers. BEFORE:

Is that not the cutest portrait? This little girl wanted to do something special during her sitting to give her dad for Father’s Day. I totally love it! She is so adorable and was a lot of fun to photograph. Here are three more images from her session —
