A couple of Fridays ago Murl and I had the honor of photographing Chelsea and Chris’ winter themed wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Abbe Reformed Church in Clymer, NY, followed by a fabulous reception at the Retreat at Peak’n Peek Resort & Spa. It was really neat to photograph their wedding because I graduated with their older siblings and I watched these two grow up!

I thought this was such a unique and beautiful idea. Each rose had a tag attached with the name of a loved one that they wanted to remember on their special day.

On Saturday Frances and Jaramie exchanged vows at Trinity Lutheran Church in Erie, PA. After the ceremony we headed down near the bayfront for some portraits before the reception started at the Siebenbuerger Club. It was a beautiful ceremony lead by Pastor Mark, the weather turned out just perfectly, and DJ Joel Miller did a great job entertaining the guests throughout the celebration. I don’t think they could have asked for a better day! Jaramie and Frances are such a fun couple it makes me realize that I say that after all of our weddings, but honestly, all of our brides and grooms are such great people, we are so fortunate to get to work with them all!

On Saturday we photographed the fun and beautiful wedding of Tracy and Ben at Lawrence Park Golf Club in Erie, PA. Tracy was absolutely stunning in her gown and I loved Ben’s camouflage vest and tie!

We were lucky that the weather cooperated and gave us gorgeous light to shoot in. The LPGC did an excellent job and everything was just perfect. DJ Greg Anderson did a great job as well.

A couple of weekends ago we had the privilege of photographing Mark and Melissa’s old Hollywood movie themed wedding at the Warner Theatre in Erie. All I can say is wow! The day was so unique and utterly beautiful. They had fantastic live music during the ceremony that built the anticipation for the bride to come down the grand staircase. The decor was classy with old movie posters and centerpieces provided by Potratz, who also did a fabulous job with the flower arrangements. DJ John Gallagher did a fantastic job emceeing the event – oh and if you haven’t heard Mark and Melissa’s ‘how they met’ story you need to, its a riot. Okay, on with the pictures!

On Saturday we photographed the fabulous wedding of Lisa & Joey. Their church was beautiful – St. Joseph’s Church in Gowanda, NY, the ceremony was lovely and the reception at Shorewood Country Club was fantastic! We even got a little bit of playtime at Point Gratiot beach in Dunkirk. Every aspect of their wedding day was planned and executed perfectly. From the attire to the table settings, dinner and dancing, everyone looked amazing and everything was wonderful. And what a great couple! Last Friday we had the privilege of photographing my cousin’s fourth of July wedding! Ariel and Noah were married at Edward’s Chapel in French Creek, NY and had their reception at the Retreat at Peek’n Peak. These two looked so great and are so in love and had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire day, it was impossible to take a bad photograph. We were also fortunate to have total creative freedom throughout the whole day and we came up with some really great stuff! We got so many great images but I can only post a few, so here goes!

On Saturday we had the privilege of photographing Merry and Scott’s wedding at Peek’n Peak in Findley Lake, NY. Their ceremony was beautiful and their celebration was fantastic! For this post I’m focusing on the details from this wedding. They had so many great details that made their wedding unique and we wanted to showcase them here.

So we just got back from Kory and Carrie’s wedding in Lawrence Park. It was such a beautiful ceremony and luckily the weather turned out to be too! This was our first wedding of the season and we couldn’t wait to get out there and shoot! The ceremony was at the Lawrence Park United Methodist Church and their reception was at the Lawrence Park Golf Club. In between we hopped on the trolley and went down to the Bayfront for some photos. I’ll share a little bit more about their wedding in my next post — here are some images!

We wrapped up the 2007 wedding season this past Saturday with a hometown wedding here in North East. Rachael and Paddy are such a fabulous couple, and their wedding day matched their personalities.

This was our biggest wedding to date with a total of 28 people in the wedding party! We were lucky to have such a great group of people to work with, everyone was so friendly and cooperative.
