We are very excited to announce prize number one in the Super Fantastic Wedding Giveaway! [ I know, crazy name - but it really is super fantastic, there is no better way to describe it! ]

Prize #1:  The Romantic Giveaway

The winner who chooses the Romantic Giveaway will get a weekend stay at Bally Lough, a charming Findley Lake cottage [ website link to come ] and a breakfast voucher for Findley Lake’s fine dining establishment the Blue Heron Inn Bed and Breakfast!

Bally Lough is a cottage nestled on a large pond a couple of miles from the center of town in Findley Lake. I chose this cottage for the Romantic Giveaway because its a cozy little retreat that is perfect for a private and romantic weekend getaway. You will be have a wide variety of dates to choose from for your weekend stay and all I can say is you can’t go wrong no matter what time of the year you choose. In the winter there is a fireplace to cuddle up next to while sipping wine and connecting with your loved one, and since it is only a few miles from Peek’n Peak you can spend the day on the slopes or at the spa before a romantic night in. When the weather is warmer there are trails throughout the 65 acres of forest, a hammock next to the pond for relaxing and a spot to have a bonfire at night. I just feel like it has something for everyone, no matter how active your lifestyle!

I chose the Blue Heron Inn because what goes better with a weekend getaway than fabulous food?! The Blue Heron Inn is famous for its tasty meals and wonderful atmosphere. They are located on the north end of Findley Lake and have a beautiful view of the lake from their covered deck. They are also an awesome place for dinner — I’ve never eaten anything there I didn’t like!

The Giveaway starts today and will be ongoing for anyone who books us through midnight on March 31st, 2010. The winners will be announced on Thursday, April 1st, 2010.
