Remember Rob and Melissa? I said I couldn’t wait to meet Hayden in March…well he held out until April 1st! Earlier today we had his newborn session and these are some of my favorite images. I love to show just how small they are when they are so new and tiny! And I just adore black and white baby pictures, they just have a classic feel to them and really seem to showcase the subject. I think he was born to be a model, he did such a great job and is such a doll!

 Thanks for having me come into your home and share the afternoon with you! I look forward to watching him grow and taking tons of portraits of him

Yesterday I had the extreme fun of photographing part one of my nieces first birthday portraits. I can’t believe she’s already a year! They grow up far too fast! I hope you enjoy these images.

Over the past couple weeks I had two handsome little guys come in for their first year birthday portraits and I wanted to share them with you. Both families were big sports fans, so that made it fun when there were lots of props to choose from! They were both so sweet and fun to work with, I’m so glad you brought them in!

Before posting about my trip to Maine, I want to share some portraits with you.

A week before I left for vacation I met up with my high school friend, Kim, who I hadn’t seen in three years. Not only was that exciting but I also got to meet her daughter, Katrien, for the first time, too! Here are some cute shots from her session –

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing little Evangeline. She is the first child of one of my very first wedding couples – I’m so excited for them! She was so adorable, bright eyed and very photogenic!

 

We captured that last one during a quiet moment when Evangeline was sleeping in a basket. It was something that Jenna had seen and thought was cute so we tried it. I love when people bring in their own ideas to a photo session.I want to thank Jenna and Ron for coming in to see me at the new studio! You guys are such a beautiful family, I am so very happy for you.
