The kids are home from college, family reunions are in full swing, the weather is lovely and everyone has a tan. Do you know what this means? Its family portrait season! We love photographing families here at HNP, especially in your backyard, the park, beach or anywhere that you and your family feel comfortable.

The following family portraits are a sample from a very fun photo session in Erie, PA during father’s day weekend. Todd & Ashley, you guys have such a wonderful family, we had a great time and truly appreciate the opportunity to create some beautiful portraits for you to celebrate your family and decorate your home!

 

 

Wednesday night Carrie and Kory stopped by the studio for their engagement session. We started out in the studio and then headed out to find some good places to photograph around town. It was a fun shoot; they are a really relaxed, anything goes couple and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding in 365 days!

And to show some Buffalo Bills love, here’s a shot of them in their jerseys!

Last night Murl and I went over to Patti and John’s beautiful home by the lake in Ripley, NY to photograph their engagement session. Here are a few of our favorites…

 

It certainly wasn’t hard finding a good backdrop! It was nice getting to know you both better and we can’t wait to photograph your wedding next month!

So summer vacation is here…you’ve graduated and prom is in the past…lets get trashed — Its not what you are thinking!

What are you going to do with that prom dress anyway, pack it away and take it out and look at it years down the road? Probably not. So lets have some fun! Trash the Dress/Drown the Gown sessions are the hot new trend for celebrating the end of an important chapter in your life! Just imagine; you in your prom dress or cap and gown on the beach, in the mud, on the farm, in a pool, anywhere you can come up with or we’ll take you to the locations available to us.

I only have time for a super quick post, but I wanted to let you all know that the grand opening special has been extended an extra week! If you book your session with me by June 17th, for the dates between June 18th - August 31st you will receive a $25.00 credit to use towards your print order on all portrait sessions [ excluding commercial and wedding photography ].

The portraits have been hung, the bathroom has a fresh coat of crazy bright green paint [ check out the photo! ], the curtains are up and everything is all set for the grand opening this afternoon and tomorrow. Last night we hosted an After Hours for the Chamber of Commerce to get the weekend rolling. It was a fun event and we met some new people and visited with those that we had previously met. Rob Miller of SNAP Fitness won the prize for the evening, a free session and an 8×10 of their favorite pose! I’m off to finish up a few things, I hope to see you here today between 1-4 or tomorrow from 11-2!
