Alright ladies, who is ready for their Vixen Session? For those of you that haven’t heard of them in the past here’s what its all about:

You come in and get your hair and makeup done, sip some wine and get some seriously gorgeous portraits of yourself to share with the man in your life or just for yourself so you can see what a hottie you truly are! The images can be combined into a book or you can have some loose prints to do what you’d like with them. The more girls we get the more cost effective the whole shoot is, so grab your girlfriends and schedule your appointments back to back!

We’ve got one coming up April 13th at the Grape Arbor Bed & Breakfast. Sessions will begin at 1pm and will go as late as we need them to. With wedding season coming up, now is the perfect time to get your portraits made to give to your fiance as a surprising wedding gift! Father’s day is coming up as well, and what hubby wouldn’t want some tasteful portraits of the love his life?!

Go on girls - surprise the man in your life, it’ll be a huge self esteem kick! You can be as reserved or as daring as you’d like. No one will be present but Heather and you, and if you are comfortable - a woman assistant. Email me and let me know you want in on this - you won’t regret it! I do want to add that no one will see these images besides you and your man!

I’ve finally returned from Vancouver, BC and I’m all sorts of excited to put to use everything I learned while there. There should be plenty of changes coming this way and I look forward to sharing everything with you as things progress. The Bebbs were a total inspiration, both professionally and personally, and I met a group of fabulous photographers while there as well. There were photographers from the States, Canada, Mexico and even Ireland, it was a fun mix of people! Here are a couple of images taken during a photo session at the Bebbinar:  

          We stayed an extra day to take in Vancouver and while we were at it Murl and I were photographed by some amazing up and coming photographers Ral & Danelle of Rad Studios in Vancouver. Their work is so different than anything you would see around here, I urge you to check them out - total eye candy! And you can peek at a few of our portraits when you visit their blog. I will post a few on here in the next couple of days to share with you as well. Coming up next on the blog: A model session which includes a bathing suit on the beach in February! I’m looking for a couple of children in grades K-4 from any school except North East to come in for a free photo session. All you have to do is come in for the free session and you will receive special pricing on the Valentine’s cards to hand out to your friends. First of all, Happy New Year! Secondly, I’m writing with lots of news.

To start with…Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and I just wanted to remind you all what a great gift a book of intimate portraits can be! If you’d like to take a peek and see what its all about, I will have a book for you to check out here in the studio. How about a steamy couple’s session? or what about a freezing cold fun session for two in the snow? There are lots of options and a variety of products to present your special someone with this February 14th.

I also wanted to let you know that I am headed for sunshine and warmer climates next week. I will be out of town from Wednesday January 9th-15th. I will still be able to check my email and communicate with you that way. Murl will probably be in a bit to keep things on track at the studio. For those of you who have orders coming in, I will call you as soon as I’m back to work on the 16th.

And another announcement - we are headed to Vancouver for the last week of February. Murl will be off skiing at Whistler while I am attending an amazing photography workshop hosted by The Bebbs [ who were ranked in the top ten wedding photographers on the planet by American Photo! ] I am so excited and there are going to be a lot of changes at HNP after this seminar!! I look forward to sharing more about this with you upon my return.

Just wanted to post quick and let you all know that I’m having some Internet problems and will hopefully get the newborn session online before the New Year. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and wish you all a safe and fun New Year’s eve!

I just wanted to let everyone know that images made before January of this year are up for sale and will be deleted from my hard drives as of January 1st, 2008. This includes weddings - I have a good deal running for digital files from my ‘05 and ‘06 weddings. Please contact me soon if you are interested in purchasing prints or files.

The date has been set - October 7th at Grape Arbor Bed and Breakfast. Each lady will get a one hour session between 2pm and 7pm. There are 3 slots full as of right now and room for only 2 more. A $75 booking fee is needed to save your spot on the calendar, and that is then applied toward your package. I also want you to know that the portraits we create are for your eyes only, they will not be posted on the blog or website anywhere, so feel secure in the fact that only the people you want to see your photographs will be the only ones to do so.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up — I will be out of the studio for the rest of the week and won’t be back until next Wednesday. Murl and I are headed to Maine with my parents and some of their friends. I will definitely return with some photographs to share! The next chance I get I have some portraits to post that are oh so adorable, check back soon!

Hey ladies, I have some exciting news to share! Right now I’m in the process of setting up a boudoir marathon. It will take place at Grape Arbor Bed and Breakfast here in North East sometime in September or October. The plan is to have a makeup artist and hair stylist on hand to make you all look utterly gorgeous. It looks like there will only be room for 5 or 6 of you, so let me know if you are interested right away so you don’t miss out on this great opportunity. It will probably be the only time before Christmas that a marathon shoot will take place — note: your man is gonna love this! More details to come soon.
