Family Portrait Myth #34: Everyone should wear the same outfit. While this is cute and in some instances works awesomely, its not who you *really* are as a family, is it? Does your family frequently go out in public wearing all white t-shirts and jeans? If you do then matching is perfect! But most families don’t normally dress that way and at HNP we believe your family portraits should reflect who you really are!

We’ve photographed two families in the last two days that mixed up their outfits and it looks great! Here is an example from yesterday — they just stayed in the same color family to keep it cohesive.
And just because its too cute not to post, here’s a solo shot of the twins! Lovin’ that they don’t match and how adorable their shirts look with that zebra print chair!!
