New Calendar

So I’ve gotten a ton of emails and calls this week for dates that I am already booked. Its a total bummer and I hate hearing you guys say a date that I’ve already gotten filled on the schedule. So, to hopefully help things out, I decided to get a public Google calendar up so you all can check on my availability before calling. But I want you to know that even if I am booked that date, I **can** help you find someone else! Or I can help you with anything, whether it is photo related or not…I just want to help :)

As of right now the calendar can be viewed on my wedding collections page, which can be found here. No other links to it at the moment since I’ve just recently gotten it online, but I’m hoping for a new website soon and then everything can be done up right.

Maternity session!

Earlier today my friends Rob and Melissa Miller from Snap Fitness came down for a maternity session. She has got to be the cutest pregnant lady I know! She’s so tiny with a big ol’ baby bump, I love it! She has 2 more months to go, which is the perfect time for maternity portraits.  Here are some of our favorite poses:

Model Search

Sick of the same old Valentine’s card offerings? Here’s your chance to get a fun and personalized card for your child to hand out to all their friends!

Before leaving I wanted to fill you in on a ‘model search’ for such a product. I’m looking for a couple of children in grades K-4 from any school except North East to come in for a free photo session. All you have to do is come in for the free session and you will receive special pricing on the Valentine’s cards to hand out to your friends. If you are interested please contact me soon via email or commenting here on the blog. I’d like to have the sessions possibly on Martin Luther King Jr. Day since the kids will be off school anyway.

A Hodgepodge of Stuff

First of all, Happy New Year! Secondly, I’m writing with lots of news.

To start with…Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and I just wanted to remind you all what a great gift a book of intimate portraits can be! If you’d like to take a peek and see what its all about, I will have a book for you to check out here in the studio. How about a steamy couple’s session? or what about a freezing cold fun session for two in the snow? There are lots of options and a variety of products to present your special someone with this February 14th.

I also wanted to let you know that I am headed for sunshine and warmer climates next week. I will be out of town from Wednesday January 9th-15th. I will still be able to check my email and communicate with you that way. Murl will probably be in a bit to keep things on track at the studio. For those of you who have orders coming in, I will call you as soon as I’m back to work on the 16th.

And another announcement – we are headed to Vancouver for the last week of February. Murl will be off skiing at Whistler while I am attending an amazing photography workshop hosted by The Bebbs [ who were ranked in the top ten wedding photographers on the planet by American Photo! ] I am so excited and there are going to be a lot of changes at HNP after this seminar!! I look forward to sharing more about this with you upon my return.
