Mark & Melissa’s Warner Theatre Wedding | Erie, PA

August 27th, 2008

A couple of weekends ago we had the privilege of photographing Mark and Melissa’s old Hollywood movie themed wedding at the Warner Theatre in Erie. All I can say is wow! The day was so unique and utterly beautiful. They had fantastic live music during the ceremony that built the anticipation for the bride to come down the grand staircase. The decor was classy with old movie posters and centerpieces provided by Potratz, who also did a fabulous job with the flower arrangements. DJ John Gallagher did a fantastic job emceeing the event - oh and if you haven’t heard Mark and Melissa’s ‘how they met’ story you need to, its a riot. Okay, on with the pictures!

Thomas’ Senior Portraits

July 24th, 2008

Thomas came in from Clymer last night for his senior portraits and we made it happen just in time to beat the torrential downpour! We started out with some portraits involving his passion for bowling — now this is a guy you want to have on your team, he bowled a 300 game this year!

Then we walked around town a bit and took some pictures with a bunch of different buildings for backdrops - North East has some really cool locations for portraits. This was my favorite -

We hit up the football field and got some really cool shots with the stormy sky…

Thanks to Thomas and Wendy for such an enjoyable session. Good luck and enjoy your senior year, Thomas!

4th of July Wedding | Peek’n Peak

July 9th, 2008

Last Friday we had the privilege of photographing my cousin’s fourth of July wedding! Ariel and Noah were married at Edward’s Chapel in French Creek, NY and had their reception at the Retreat at Peek’n Peak. These two looked so great and are so in love and had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire day, it was impossible to take a bad photograph. We were also fortunate to have total creative freedom throughout the whole day and we came up with some really great stuff! We got so many great images but I can only post a few, so here goes!

Here are a couple of detail shots - I really love their wedding rings, Noah’s is so unique!

Kory & Carrie’s Wedding

June 21st, 2008

So we just got back from Kory and Carrie’s wedding in Lawrence Park. It was such a beautiful ceremony and luckily the weather turned out to be too! This was our first wedding of the season and we couldn’t wait to get out there and shoot! The ceremony was at the Lawrence Park United Methodist Church and their reception was at the Lawrence Park Golf Club. In between we hopped on the trolley and went down to the Bayfront for some photos. I’ll share a little bit more about their wedding in my next post — here are some images!

Retouching Available

June 6th, 2008

I recently did some photo retouching for Cindy at the Flower Cart and wanted to share that with you all. Retouching old photographs is such an amazing job for me. I love to make cherished old beat up photos look new again. These make great gifts so keep them in mind for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, or just to surprise your grandmother with a fixed up favorite image of hers.    BEFORE:     AFTER:
